DSU is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Registrar’s Office. As a Registration Assistant, the successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient operation of the office. Excellent attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
Respond to student inquiries regarding registration, transfer credits, and enrollment status promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Verify student enrollment status by reviewing and updating student records in the student information system.
Process student information accurately and efficiently in the student information system, including registration, course changes, withdrawals, and other related activities.
Maintain confidentiality of student records and adhere to all relevant data protection regulations.
Stay updated on college policies and procedures related to registration, enrollment, and transfer credits to provide accurate information to students and staff.
Fulfilling transcript requests and payments.
Interpreting student intent to ensure service quality and accuracy.
Generating correspondence to a variety of stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of student record management.
Proficient in web-based technology and Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
